NARRATIVE Prolific bloomer for sunny borders. Dead head flower clusters and cut back stems halfway to encourage branching and prolong bloom time. Tall stems may need staking. May need supplemental water in summer during dry spells. Good cut flower. Wonderfully fragrant. Cut stems back to the ground in the fall. Divide clumps in spring or fall every few years.
